Default SY Warrior and D/N Supporter + ?

Hi guys.

Some weeks ago I created a new char: a warrior. My first.
I am about to enter HM Missions + Vanquish for titles. I normally play SY! Dragonslasher and i thought about using a D/N Supporter with some Heals + Arcane Zeal and Orders. I didnt tried this but I think its good to use a supporter like that? Now I don't know what kind of heroes i should bring else? Problem is I don't have all heroes now and i don't have weapons and runes so... i cant test it on my own.

I read the thread "my paragon buddies" which is often called the "racway" but i wonder if this will work fine with warriors? I also thought about using normal MM + SS. :E

I would love to know what you play(ed) with your wars!
PS: I also tried RoJ canon but i guess that something for hammer Knocks right?

Racway should work fine with a warrior since the player's main purpose is to keep SY up, so no worries there.

Anyway, I've run Racway and the D/N (and N/Mo) supporter, I just can't get it to work honesly. I feel the party is lacking healing/protection and they tend to go down pretty quickly even though I followed the guide to the letter. Tried it several times, didn't work for me eventually I ditched it, maybe it was something I was doing wrong but honestly didn't bother to check.

Now, as for the other choices - you can take whatever you like. Seriously, don't stick to that mentality that discord/sabway/racway/spiritway are the only ways to go. I vanquished all 3 continents always using a balanced team even on the tougher areas.

A heal/prot hybrid monk.
A minion bomber.
Gwen VoR or Power Block; Pyre with BHA; something else.

And whatever henchies. Warriors do pretty damn well in HM, they're the best for it imo, run something you like instead of those generic builds, if you feel like it.

As for Earthshaker, I used to run it with the same setup above. No problems at all, and more fun honestly than wacking away D-Slash over and over.

It works fine with a warrior primary. "Warrior Racway" is the team build's unofficial name, hehe.

In my opinion, it's not ideal. I think Dark Fury and Order of Pain are better on necromancers than dervish heroes, and I still think Sabway is better.

that paragon build is total ass and a half, just spare yourself and use necros cause they're 700% more efficient and fast. dslash save yourselves gets real boring, real quick. having a d/n spamming orders is kind of a silly idea if you're not running full physical. full physical teams for general pve are bad anyway.

SO. if you want more damage you definitely can run that earthshaker with a roj hero that upkeeps strength and honor on you so you still get insane +damage and can knockdown groups of foes in a delicious roj.

OR you can do what i prefer and go for fast easy demolition. W/D scythe with a SS/Discord mm bomber/IV NRt, 2 copies of putrid biles, splinter wep, all that fun crap, and realize how much of a joke pve is. you kill one thing and biles pop, iv pops, minions popping, shit just blows up it's hilarious.

here's the w/d build i run as a reference you can use

http://i34.tinypic.com/16lz2bo.jpg

optional 1 can be any attack. deep wound, chilling victory, whatever.
optional 2 i usually use asuran scan or pain inverter

you'll deal crazy massive damage, and build up SY! quickly cause you're hitting multiple foes with ias.

just a tip wiki templates are usually pretty bad and generic, you'll find yourself much better suited once you figure out how the whole necro thing works with the class you're playing on. they're extremely versatile and can be built to annihilate almost any situation.

It's kinda hard to suggest something unless we know what you do and don't have. Plus hero questions are generally better suited for the hero forum.

The best thing to do is to tell us what you are able to use now and what generally you'd like to be able to do. If not, you are going to get the standard hero set ups as suggestions.

If you have access to HM areas and vanquishing, you have access to the heroes(unless you don't have the campaigns they're in). Step 1 is to collect them.

Second, I rarely bother giving them runes unless I had to PvP with them, and since that's no longer an option, I just used them to "store" runes I find on the ground till I need them. I also let them hold my own weapons till I need them, or if I get something shiny or get a lot of a collectible, I'll cash in and let them have the things. Pretty much, you don't have to invest that hard to make your heroes kick ass, I already have guardian and 2/3 vanq, legendary master of the north and my MM has a sup death and no +HP runes...

Third, on a warrior, SY pretty much makes your team invincible against most mobs, you don't even need dragon slash. You could stick SY on a whirling axe bar and rollinate stuff easy(in fact probably better then D-slash VS stuff that takes whirling defense, like jade bows and kournan bowmen). As long as you can get adrenaline, you can kick ass. One thing I've found I like is to give my caster heroes paragon secondary, with at least 8 in motivation, and let them take Inspirational Speech. Between fights, they'll need to be micro-managed, but in a brawl, they know to spam it on recharge, with FGJ on it's 6 adrenaline whenever they use it. It's great to go into a fight fully charged, the first attack by a mob is usually the hardest hit, you go in with SY! up and next attack you're ready to unoad and kill something, then the heroes reload you automatically. The other thing is blood magic, consider taking dark fury or mark of fury, with FGJ it's pretty nice.

One of my favorite little buddies is a Mo/P with Ray of judgement, strength of honor, inspirational speech and whatever else I need to cram on him(casti sig, smite hex ect), and I go as a Earth Shaker. I go in fully charged, collect the enemyinto a ball, shake em down, crude swing, the hero has nuked them at this point, and I'm charged for the next guy.

I also never like to leave an outpost without a necro of some sort, they just kick way to much ass, even if you don't use the discord or sabway type team build stuff, a MM/curse hybrid with jagged, minions, death nova, withering aura, mark of pain, a couple conditions, inspirational speech and maybe some blood stuff if there's no bodies for the minions is just to awesome to leave behind.

Also, a generic HM bar that's effective regardless of class is an earth ele. Unsteady Ground, Churning Earth, Erruption, ward VS melee and either /P, /Rt or /Mo with a couple party support skills(heal party, strength of honor, weapon spells or spirits ect) and GoLE can work in most areas. Stuff in HM always runs fast, so when they try and run out of churning, they fall over, they always attack so unsteady will get em, erruption can take out an R-spike mob and the ward protects the squishies, they use GoLE to keep from running dry and have a pool large enough to throw party support around.
